'Only Connect!' is a monthly email newsletter which is produced on a 'contribute and distribute' basis. It is a summary, in date order, of news and events in Winchester and its surrounding area, which are ecumenical and/or are concerned with issues of peace, social justice, world development and the environment. Its aim is to improve the publicity of such events and also to encourage communication between the groups organising them, whether faith based or secular.
Readers contribute items of news and details of events which they would like publicised. These are incorporated into the newsletter and distributed to everyone on the mailing list. The continued existence of 'Only Connect!' depends on the support of its readers. Its present circulation is 125, and includes many magazine editors. However, its readership is considerably larger as readers are encouraged to extend the circulation by emailing the newsletter to anyone they think would appreciate receiving it.
'Only Connect!' is usually distributed on the 15th of each month, and copy is normally required the day before publication.
